I think what everyone needs to remember is that this forum didn't just spontaneously appear. Brett was the one who stepped up and (on his own time and dime) created this forum that we all enjoy. More importantly, it's his passion for the hobby that keeps him maintaining and moderating this site - all in his free time and without compensation, I might add. That said, Brett doesn't have to do this - remember that at any time, he can take the proverbial ball and go home. And I'm sure that all of us would agree that taking this forum off the web benefits nobody.
So for those of you who don't agree how this forum is run, you have a couple of choices. You can either: 1) chill; 2) stop posting here, or; 3) create your own glove forum where you can decide on the rules. Choice 1 is obviously preferable, but if you do decide to create your own forum, you'll be surprised how quickly it'll deteriorate into a juvenile, name-calling, locker room. Hey, if that's your thing, then great, have at it - but your place isn't here. That's not what this forum is about.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but people haven't been posting as much lately. I'll go out on a limb and guess that the constant bickering and unnecessary name-calling somehow figures into it. Too much time has been spent discussing what, in the adult world, should've been a non-issue. Let's get back to discussing gloves.
