Besides gloves -
I collect baseball caps (latest favorite is the new, old-school Cleveland New Era 5950), vintage and not-so-vintage pocket knives (especially Schrade Old-Timers), and Cross pens and pencils. I buy and never sell (is that a definition of collecting?

) books: vintage books, hardbacks or paperbacks, novels, biographies and autobiographies, best-sellers ... you name it, if I think it looks interesting to read I will buy it, whether at the used book stores in town or Hastings, or Books-A-Million, or Amazon.com. I have several tin boxes, too (old-style food boxes, mainly, like Oreo, Maxwell House 1881 coffee, etc.), although I don't think of myself as collecting them. When I go to the grocery store, if I see a nice tin box of some type of food I like, I am always tempted to buy it.
Yes, I still have my first glove.
