MODGOW week 25my08 SAP5 A2000 A2002 A2010 proLT

Postby spedrunr » May 26th, 2008, 4:11 pm

leading off today's lineup is a nice SAP5 made in usa for japan baseball players (for smaller hands?) went for a nice $290 (pix look familiar MW?) 110251464638

on deck we have a record setting $197 for a minty proLT catchers mitt 270238126683

batting 3rd in the lineup and ending at $154 is a pro A2000 1724 w/tags. cool conventional back single poster, could this be a pro stocker?170219382968

at cleanup was the only reason one would want to be an LHT-er (prices 1/4 the price of comparable RHT models) realizing a screamin $125bin for an NWOT a2002 XLO 220238217984

usually 1b and catchers hover around $100, but this CMP bill white commanded a hefty $177.50 in spite of the decorative authograph 180244456617

and last but not least a cool a2010 "shooter" which incorporates many of the features of it's big brother a2000 that ended at a modest $96 230251700853

Upside down USA stamp

Postby Cowboy7130 » May 27th, 2008, 10:39 am

That lefty A2002 is sweet. I wonder about the upside down USA stamp. Is that normal for lefties?
Yes, I still have my first glove.

i'm thinking the person working the stamping machine didn't really pay attention when they stamped out 500 RHT's and then the 1 LHT got upside downed. i would think that something like that would get the "S" stamp. but if you think about it, it doesn't affect the performance of the glove whatsoever.

i have a proTB that has the word trap-eze stamped upside down on the 6th finger and it's a RHT mod. no blem stamp

I'm really digging on the A2000 black single post! I would love to have that glove.

I love that A2010. That's a sweetheart. The black A2000 with the single-post web is cool, too. And so is the SAP5! Wow! If only I had money....

Did I say that I love Modern Glove of the Week? If I didn't, I'm saying it now. This is one cool category!

Thanks,

John,

hey john, feel free to contribute to it, i'm busy as all get out this summer and can barely even keep track of the gloves that are up for auction let alone the GOW thread.
