Big Ups to Matt at Mizuno!

Postby WMD_172 » July 20th, 2008, 12:01 am

So I recently ordered a custom Mizuno from Don Morton's (190 with shipping!)

All tan, black embroidery.

But I really wanted to get this model in a Pro Limited, but this model is only offered in Pro Lim in Japan. Partially because I wanted all the goodies and the glove bag with it.

So I spent alot of time on the phone with the guys from Mizuno, Matt specifically, on the phone seeing what was possible.

He said he could not get me the Pro Lim.

I get a email from Matt last week, and he noticed I ordered the Classic Pro, but he would like to send me a personalized glove bag free!

Anyway, I thought that was completely unnecessary and uncalled for, and extremely nice of him and Mizuno.

Anyone ever get one of the custom gloves from Mizuno?

That sounds about what I like. Can you post a pic when you get it?

Not to burst your bubble but if you buy a Classic Pro off the shelf you get a free glove bag. Goto

ha! what, Mizuno, is sneaky.

I still feel special...

If you go to the bottom of the page of ballgloves.com, there is a link that says "build your own mizuno glove".

btw how do you like the leather

Anything free and high quality makes me feel all warm inside. The bag is made out of what looks to be dry-fit type material and the embroidery is all pretty.
