Celluloid buttons

Postby Rickybulldog » July 7th, 2008, 5:16 pm

Hello all,

Recently I was chatting with my glove pal Joel Tobillo about an ebay glove that he picked up. The glove is a full web and has a very unique Reach celluloid button on it. Joel, you could post a photo if you like. I was just curious, what manufacturers used these type of buttons? I know Goldsmith and Ratsch Peerless did as well and all were on full webs. Any others? Were these used for any particular reason? Thoughts? I will try to show my Ratsch Peerless button later.............Take care...RBD

That is a really neat glove. I've seen larger buttons that are similar to the one on the glove but never have actually seen one on a glove. I think you got a great deal on this one.
