I've done it so many times (on different items, not just gloves) that I can probably do one in less than 30 seconds with a sharpie and a small straightedge, like a credit card...

Louis Vuitton Glove

Postby GloveGypsy » July 6th, 2008, 2:47 pm

...nice touch Larryl!

We may be on to something here. If you can have an "LV" designer momogram on your glove, I predict the following:

-Ralph Lauren-a ruggedly handsome glove for the "weekend warrior" in your home.
-Donna Versace- Perhaps the design force behind the $400 Rawlings "Primo"
-Dolce & Gabbana- Timeless styling and an obscene price of $1,200 for the obscenely wealthy, occasional athlete with discriminating tastes!
-Glove Gypsy

Leathers

You are correct - eel skin was horrible as a boot and shoe leather. It was so easily scratched as to be almost worthless. It did look shiny and pretty when new, though ....
Yes, I still have my first glove.
