Hi there !

I'm 34, French, and I'm pretty new in collecting baseball Gloves. Actually I only have one. My other gloves are still in my bag and I use it to play with !

Welcome to the forum! It's great to see that baseball is alive and kicking in Europe! After reading your post, I looked up baseball in France, and I found a website for an organization that's arranging a baseball trip in France, geared towards American 40-somethings, in June of next year. With a newborn on the way, I'm not sure that I'd be able to make it, but had I heard about this back in my bachelor days, I'd have jumped at the chance! If anybody's interested, here's the link:

My father is from Vannes - I lived there a short time, then Saint-Nazaire. My mother's family is from Angers and Tours... Small world!

very cool jp, looks like that glove has seen some serious playing time. funny how mizuno recycles it's model #'s on their gloves (GPT-5)
