Besides the aforementioned category change that doesn't make sense, there's the "private auction" setup which allows the scammers to put up
items that we know are fake but no one can contact the prospective buyers that they're being set up.
And the latest where the seller cannot leave a negative feedback against the buyer! Huh! ?? I saw some of the rationale for setting this up, about the sellers leaving retaliatory negative. But then to go to an EXTREME in the other direction? NUTS!
For example: I sold a glove recently on eBay and sent an invoice, a 3 day followup, an 8 day followup and the buyer, knowing full well the new rule protecting buyers, writes back "Stop bothering me. I'll pay." 12 days and he still hasn't paid. He's got 1200 feedbacks too
And we all know shill bidding goes on. I had direct proof of this. But...
the guy soon was back selling again on eBay.
Sad.
