Hello Everyone!

Hey Guys,

My name is Spiro and I live in the Chicago area. I have been collecting gloves for the last eight years or so, and am mostly interested in post 1950's gloves. Trap and Mod-Trap gloves are my favorites, and comprise a good chunk of my collection. I love Nokona gloves, as you have may have been able to tell by my screen name. :D . Also love collecting USA gloves - HOH's, A2000's, etc.

I recently found this place, and I am impressed to say the least with the knowledge of the members, and the wealth of information that abounds. I have already learned much, especially in the areas of conditioning and pre-war gloves.

Brett, great job, this place is awesome!

Welcome! Thanks for joining - I'm sure you'll find plenty of fellow forum members who enjoy the same types of gloves you collect.

That would be Cubbies! (Let the laughter commence). I don't cheer against the Sox as my dad is a Sox fan and was thrilled for him when they won in 05.

And you?

Buffalo Glove has come out tonight. Glad to have you in. I've worked with Nocona for more than 30 years and not a nicer bunch of fellows to be associated with. I have one of their first Buffalo gloves that I'm using and probably one of the first in the U.S. that we know of. Great leather.
Glad to have you aboard the Glove Boat!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Joe,

The people at Nokona are the best. The customer service I have received from them has been extraordinary to say the least. That, along with many other reasons, is why I recommend them to everyone I know looking for a new glove.

I would love to see a picture of your first generation Buffalo glove if you have one. My gamer since 2000 has been a AMG650BF. I'll have to take some pics of it.
