Another former Duke basketball great besides Dick Groat also played two professional sports. Trajan Langdon, the Alaskan Assasin, played minor league baseball in the San Diego Padres farm system, I believe, during his first two years at Duke. Of course he played in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a few years before heading to European League where he just led the CSKA Moscow team to the championship and was named MVP.
