Baseball Glove Carrying Bag Inquiry

Hi All,

Here is a quick question, which of course I hope is not a stupid one. Also, I hope I entered it in the correct Forum and if not if the Moderators could move it that would be ideal.

I'll preface it by saying I play Tennis and have a Tennis Specific Bag for my Racquets. The Bag is has Thermo Protection, much like you'd see in a Cooler.

Based on that mindset, meaning I am a Gear Fanatic, I was hoping to find a small Bag which I could Carry my Baseball Glove in. In it I'd also carry my Palmgard XTRA, a Wristband and a couple of Baseballs.

Might anyone know if such a Bag intended for that purpose exists?

Price aside I have found two Bags I am considering Buying, and I wanted to get some feedback on them.

The first of which I like, but it does not have any of the insulation that my Tennis Bag does. The second is not so much a Bag, but rather a Cooler, which I think my Glove would fit into.

I am assuming that you do not wish to carry the traditional batbag, with room for two to four bats, your spikes, two or three gloves, a bologna sandwich, and an extra Gatorade or two.

There are some smaller, backpack-style baseball-specific gear bags available through various baseball equipment outlets. I just did a quick check on baseballexpress.com and found several backpacks. These do have exterior sleeves for bats, but you could leave them empty. There is also a simple Under-Armour locker sack that might be the simplest solution.

Thanks for the reply, it is very much appreciated!

You are correct in saying that I am not looking for a Batbag. The main reason for that is that I do not Play Baseball as often these days and more often than not I Play Catch. So I figured it would be beneficial to have a small Bag for that specific purpose.

As far as buying a small Back Pack, that sounds like something I am going to look into further.

The challenge that I am having with that is that I am very specific in having things such as Brand Types match, so that pretty much would limit me to finding a Wilson Backpack to match my Wilson Baseball Glove.

And I might consider a Nike Bag, since I often wear than Brand, or maybe I can find a Cincinnati Reds Bags.

However it all works out, I figure and hope that with some luck I might be able to find something. And what I keep telling myself is that the good news is that it is something I'd like, albeit not absolutely need.

You might take a look at the "sling" bags. The are really more like a backpack but with strings for straps. They are probably near the soccer section of the local sporting goods store. They are lightweight, inexpensive, numerous brands/styles and the perfect size for a glove and ball.
