A barrel of old baseball gloves found in North Carolina

I was talking to a professor of mine who had just returned from North Carolina from a funeral. He is an antiques fan and he and I had talked about our hobbies. Yesterday he said that he had gone into an antique (multi seller) mall in the small town where his wife's mother had passed away. (I can't remember the town but I have class again on Thursday so I'll update this thread then) He said he remembered that I liked old baseball gloves and that one of the sellers was selling old sports equipment and had a barrel filled of old gloves for sale. He said the gloves ranged from early 40s to 70s era gloves. The town is in the appalachian mountain range which is where his wife is from. So if you live in NC or nearby stay tuned.

Sorry it took so long to get back to update this.

The town is named Foscoe and is on the road from Boone to Leadville (Route 105) Its at the base of Grandfather mountain.

My professor says that there is an antique mall in this small town that he goes to when he visits his wife's family.
