hmmm ...

Postby Cowboy7130 » January 24th, 2008, 2:39 pm

no indication of the glove's history ... no mention of the glove being one of his gamers .... no mention of model number or endorsement ... could it be that this is just some random Rawlings that was autographed by Mr. Mantle? the letter says that there are other, illegible signatures on the back of the glove ...

and I beg to differ with the description ... that taco fold is not mint condition in my opinion ...
Yes, I still have my first glove.

No question its a cheap retail glove that he signed for someone, Not even real leather. could this bidding be shill bid? No one in there right mind would spend more than 10 bucks just for the autograph

I'm not sure what the reserve is on the first one but I'd take the $1300+ and run!

[Don't care one way or another on who sells or buys but on this glove I would say its retail model build in 62,63,64. not later becaused he changed is autograph in 64 and this looks like the pre 64 sig. Don't think he ever used the triple action web but might be wrong I think he went from one peice solid to To his version of the "I" web. only an opinon won't go to court on this ha.

Yes I have seen most of them, got more pictures of them than my grandchildren
