A rare Horace Partridge brand Hans Wagner model 6G glove sold for $1250. Looks to be in great shape. The glove was made by Goldsmith for HP and is a top quality model. Of the various HP tags, most collectors seek the one illustrating a partridge..

A 1906 Reach model 7C child's mitt sold for $425. It is listed as a fielders mitt in the Reach catalog. Buckskin leather with maroon cloth piping. The patents stamped on the face refer to the grommet web and heel stitching. As with a lot of vintage youth gear, this one is in fantastic condition.

An unusual and unique buckle web glove sold for $187. At first I thought it was a homemade buckle web but upon closer examination it seems to have been that way originally.

A teens sewn web glove sold for $214. Despite the owner branding on the face and back, a nice looking well built glove. The glove has an unbroken forefinger stall on the back. It also has a round mfg. logo on the palm and a black cloth patch. I would venture it's a Western Sporting Goods "Mascot" brand.

An early 1960's Rawlings Mickey Mantle model XPG6 glove sold for $189. This one has the early signature, Made in USA stamp and a wrist strap button. I had thought all the XPG6 gloves had eliminated the button in favor of the slim wrist strap and laced snugger adj. I couldn't find a similar example on JD's gallery to this ebay glove. Not sure where this one fits in time wise but may be rare. Derek may have an idea.

Mike, the XPG6 Mickey Mantle pictured is a regular glove from 1962-63 (identified by the crossover finger lace) with no unusual features. I blew up the wrist strap area in question and there is no button, just the usual snugger adjustment. Either way, someone got a good deal, aside from the ink the glove appears to be in nice solid condition. I believe it would have sold for much more had the seller known what he had listed.
