Cool photo Mike. This one isn't great, but I think it shows just enough. Jim Winford in 1937 with a Goldsmith Snare web.

Cleveland players with Rawlings RR rolled lace webs in 1948.

That was a popular choice through the 1940s. Top to bottom are George Kell, Cookie Lavagetto (next to Pee Wee Reese),Bobo Newsome, and Red Schoendienst.

Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell, and Jimmy Ripple goofing off. Mel swapped his bat for Carl's glove.

Bob Smith with the big buckleback. Looks like a Reach PRO model like this one from JD's website.

Greg, the Tuck Stainback glove is one of my favorites. It's the Hudson Jimmie Reese model. Cool you found a player using it.

Thanks for identifying it Mike. I knew I'd seen the ad before but couldn't remember who made it. It's one cool mitt.

Don't remember ever seeing a MacGregor Goldsmith triple tunnel, but it looks like one was cobbled together for John Sain. Their late 1940s Ralph Kiner and Pete Reiser snare web gloves have the right amount of eyelets for it.

Wes Ferrell with a cool one. Thought it was a Rainey web at first but I think it's a wide sewn web. Paul Waner used a similar glove as well.

Just realized that Waner's glove is likely his Rawlings signature model. I honestly didn't know there was one.

The webbing is distinctive. The way the tunnel webs interconnect is a trademark of OK Mfg. gloves of the period.
Below an OK Dizzy Trout model.

That does look like the web.
Here's Johnny Rigney sporting a flex-form glove.

The Giants big three rotation. Carl Hubbell with the Wilson, Cliff Melton with a Goldsmith Red Lucas, and Hal Schumacher with the Rainey web.
