The TG78 Boyer models were sold from 1960 to 1963. That makes them just slightly "younger" than I am old, so I guess that qualifies as the "newer" stuff!
These were not top-of-the-line gloves, selling for less than half of the pro-model trappers, with a corresponding drop in quality and materials. During those years, the TG12 sold for around $40, while the TG78 retailed for about 13 bucks.
The price guide lists Boyer-endorsed gloves as "very common", meaning they are in plentiful supply. Book prices for Boyer gloves "VG", "EX" and "NM" conditions are $30/$45/$90.
When you factor in the demand for these gloves, the relative size and quality level, the appeal of a popular Yankee endorser and the fact that it is a Trap-Eze glove- though not the best of the Trap-Eze models- my best guess would be that you could pick up one of these from eBay for about 1/2 to 2/3 the book (ie: retail) value.
