I believe Sports Illustrated, in the 1980s, carried a biog story on Ozzie and gave his history on his use of the Trapeze, which I believe began with an old TG12 which he'd used since Junior High. We have alluded to this use and re-interest, in the glove newsletter from time to time.
I can't seem to pull this site up i.e.: "Sorry! We could not find the page you requested.
Please go back and try your request again, or return at a later time."
So if you can give us the description used, that would be illuminate. Oz has been overlooked for the resurgance. I've tried to drop it in whenever the newer Trapeze models are mentioned. Rawlings let the style go to the wayside I think by the late 1960s, which is a shame. I really like catching with TE.
you have got to be kidding me! They took it down this morning apparently... Sorry I have to say I dont really remember the description, but the Pro preferred Trap-eze for sale was named after him. Possibly it was rare?
Sorry again

Softball - make sure that you cut and paste the ENTIRE address into a new window. I had the same problem at first, and then realized that the really long url address was being cut off by the edge of my computer screen. So, cut and paste, and it will bring you to a really nice picture of the new Ozzie glove!
