Had fun today and picked up a couple interesting things. I'm way too tired to put any thought into posting so I'll do a summary at the end of the week.

Having a fun week. A couple interesting pick ups - I'll be sure to share sometime this weekend. Balancing the show, two sets of company at the house and a very pregnant due in 2 weeks wife!

Ha! The first one strung us along for an extra 2 weeks so we'll see what happens this time. I promise not to wait that long to get a full report up here.

The show this year was a pretty good success. I had a good day selling on Tuesday - most of the stuff I sell is vintage clothing as that is the hot ticket up at Brimfield. People can't get enough vintage jerseys and sweaters for some reason. The buying all four days was a little slow. I was happy with my purchases and will be keeping a couple for my own collection - a Bon Tober catchers mitt box to go with my fielders box, an 1890 Horace Partridge Catalog and an 1891 Wright & Ditson catalog. There wasn't anything great out there and I didn't come across any gloves I would have bought if the price was better. Got to catch up with some fellow collectors and hobbyists so that is always fun. Going back up tomorrow morning with my wife so she can do some shopping - hopefully there is another treasure yet to be discovered.

I uploaded the two new catalogs I picked up - 1890 Horace Partridge and 1891 Wright & Ditson to the library on JD's site. There are some neat things in there including the Arthur Irwin mitten and a line of John Morrill gloves. Make sure to check them out. FYI, I had to photograph them instead of scan because I didn't want to ruin them.
