I agree, a nice piece of memorabilia. I looked around the Google Patents and the "patent clasp" of the fielders glove may refer to a ball and socket type snap at the wrist strap button. The "patent fastener" of the catchers mitt may refer to the thumb strap for which Victor was well known. Interesting that the date was 1912. The gloves in the flyer seem earlier. Since these were childrens equipment, the older designs carried through for a longer period. The Victor equipment catalog of the day constructed the youth model catchers mitt with the laced wrist opening while the better models utilized the more expensive buckle wrist straps.
