Lefty Perez?? Goldsmith basemitt

Postby Thxforthebp » September 22nd, 2010, 3:49 pm

Recently picked up a "Lefty" Perez Goldsmith basemitt. The endorsement is block lettered and not a script signatue. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this model glove, and who Lefty Perez played for as I dont recognize the name.

Thanks

Hey Josh,

Here's the Lefty Perez Nokona made Reach, Wright & Ditson I used to have. Although it's stamped Reach, Wright & Ditson, it's pretty cool that it has Nokona stampings.

One of the mystery gloves. Nocona did produce "Lefty" Perez mitts. I found an Eliseo Perez who pitched for Fort Worth in the mid 1930s and thought that might be him.
And Ncona may have produced the wright and Ditson mitt also. And now the "Hutch" Perez. Someone had already emailed me about the Hutch Perez.
Nocona has a few other "strange" endorsed gloves and a Hutch a few of its own.
