I think this glove has got to be the "find" of the second week of Sept. Just a beauty for only $7. It takes some real diligence to search out a hidden treasure and real joy in the hunt.Mike**Mize wrote:Talk about odd photos and descriptions. I took a chance on these two from the same seller. These were both started at $6.99 and listed as children's gloves. The photos were very fuzzy; just clear enough to prompt me to bid. I thought the basemitt might be a Banner Gehrig; I knew that the fielders glove was an A2080 Pafko. I was the only bidder. I received them yesterday and they really responded to a little Horseman's One-Step. The basemitt's stamped Maycraft (no Gehrig signature that I can find). Still, a pretty nice mitt in great condition. The fielder's glove is a really nice example of the A2080 inside and out. All for under $25 shipping inclusive.
