Cleaned up 1920's Rawlings

Just picked this up and was really happy to see nice tan leather after the grime came off. I sometimes wonder if gloves this blackened were lodged in a chimney flue for many years. No markings survived and it doesn't have the Rawlings shield button which is kind of odd. Reminds me of a smaller Bill Doak except for the extra grommets.

Thanks. I used Murphy's Oil Soap with a toothbrush and one of those flexible sanding pads (320 grit) for the really stubborn grime on the fingertips. I did spend quite a bit more time on it than I usually do after seeing how nice the leather looked under the grime. Wish that they all would clean up the way this one did.
