I can see why these types of webs were outlawed. Joe what year was it exactly? Nice craftmanship nonetheless.

JD i would guess around late 1930s-early '40s on this one. Greenberg devised the first such "High Laced" mitt and Harry Latttina improvised on it with the Rawlings Claw.
Good job on the rolled lacing on this mitt. And, you can see where the
web not extends above the top of the mitt.

I once spoke with a guy who had been the ballboy of the 1948 Indians team and he showed me his Rawlings glove with an original rolled web obtained personally from Larry Doby (as a gift, not a Doby gamer!) in the spring of 1949. I think he said that the web was outlawed that spring or summer 1949.
