Noah, you misspelled my name. Or maybe I spelled it wrong for you.
Don't stay away so long. You're exposed now and we can take a few shots at ya.
Dick Stump was a disappointment to many people including your's truly.
Couple of truly nice guys not in our hobby any more because of his antics.

i keep a copy in my glove bathroom  and refer to it often. it was one of the books that really got me hot for glove collecting (the pix are great and it's an easy read  )

the gamer pix and modgloves are sweet

anybody recommend a better read out there?

The ultimate compliment to the Author I'm sure

Joe, misspelling a name is breaking Cardinal rule of journalism #1, not to mention Twins rule, Tigers rule and Marlins rule. I'm truly sorry. In the future, I'll do my best to refer you to more journalists who can quote you and get it right. I've already done that many times. As for having it in the bathroom, I'm proud. I told the publisher that I was going to put in a ton of pictures and small sidebars "so a guy could keep it in the bathroom and read a little bit every time." So mission accomplished. Thanks for the nice words, guys, and I'm definitely man enough to take future criticism for anything I got wrong (and to argue for anything I still think is right), so feel free ...

Its amazing how much you can learn during that short break each day. I learned a ton about bass fishing several years back while I was at home studying for my comprehensive exams. After the exams were done, I told a friend "if I had know how much could be learned reading magazines on the crapper, I would have set up a library with my journals and classnotes in the bathroom". As it turned out I managed to pass my exams well enough and learn some of the finer points on fishing good bass habitat at the same time.
