Upcoming Mizuno's?

Postby Hrking4675 » July 28th, 2008, 3:19 pm

Usually Mizunousa.com updates their site before August to announce gloves coming out in Aug of that year. Still nothing.... Just curious if anyone was in Omaha in June or knows anything about upcoming Pro Limited's or Classics that are on their way out.

They will be making custom Mizuno Pro Limiteds in "every color" according to a few people within the company

So they're just going completely custom? Does not sound like a bad idea since their classic customs are around $200. I always have a hard time finding regular stock gloves that I would actually use. Mizuno has always been a close second to Rawlings for me.

I guess their new Pro Lim customs will be many of the same options that that one japanese site had.

They were always 2nd, maybe third in my book. Then I got to play with a few of their gloves and after having a bad experience with a new Pro Preffered, and watching the video at the bottom ofthis page,

I ordered a custom classic pro

usually Mizuno starts shipping around the 2nd week of august. They should start showing up on the web sometime in the next week (at least that has been my experience in past years when i was working in the sporting goods industry)

Im very interested in making a custom classic glove in their coffee color.

I went to the Twins game tonight, and in the program there is a picture of Scott Baker wearing a mysterious looking blonde mizuno. I'd assume this is what the new pro limiteds look like. A little bit darker leather, a little bit lighter colored lace.

Page 15 of the program. Correction its kevin slowey. . I won seats in the terrace suite (i've never ate so well at a baseball game before)

Also I just noticed that eastbay has the new mizuno cleats so I'd expect gloves any day now.

They have the new Classic Pro XX with color schemes similar to the new A2000s (camel & black)

baseballexp.com has a shortstop model and a second base model. They're supposed to have new "elite leather"

I just received an email from a Mizuno rep stating that many of the Pro Limiteds that were previously only available in RHT only will be available in LHT throw as well. Being a lefty I can't wait to get my hands on a GMP6 :D
