Hi,

This is a test to see if I am posting images correctly. The AOL "PERMALINK" for each of the ten (10) pictures that I wanted to post here apparently is too long to work on this forum. Therefore, I am forced to post the URL for my AOL Public Photo Album, which is:

http://pictures.aol.com/galleries/aareml2

I'll make another post later on this evening.

Thanks.

HI AGAIN

Postby 45B40-95B40 » August 6th, 2008, 9:54 pm

Yorick – My father’s ancestors are Dutch (from Holland).

Clint (awarsoca) – Thanks for the welcome.

Hi again,

I’m Ralph Van Buren, and I’m at that point in my life when I’m passing on many of the things that I’ve collected over the years. I’ve collected various things, and even though I’ve never collected any kind of baseball memorabilia, I have a nice late 1980’s Spalding Mike Hegan 1st baseman’s mitt that I want to sell to someone who’ll appreciate it and who’ll perhaps even use it more than I’ve ever used it.

My USERNAME on this Vintage Baseball Glove Forum is 45B40-95B40 because that is also my USERNAME on:
CSP Gun Talk Forum ( http://www.jouster.com/cgi-bin/guntalk/config.pl )
Gunboards ( http://www.gunboards.com/ )
Auction Arms ( http://www.auctionarms.com/ )
Gun Broker ( http://www.gunbroker.com/ )
eBay ( http://www.ebay.com/ )

Anyone who’s familiar with the term “Military Occupational Specialty” (M. O. S.) probably realizes that my 45B40-95B40 USERNAME is based on the Small Arms Repairman – 45B40 – M. O. S. and the Military Policeman – 95B40 – M. O. S. I served in the United States Army as a Small Arms Repairman and as a Military Policeman from 1970-1973.

Sometime soon, I’ll be posting in the FOR SALE / FOR TRADE forum with information and photographs of the Spalding Mike Hegan 1st baseman’s mitt that I want to sell.

Thanks again,

Ralph Van Buren (45B40-95B40)
