I've seen two Rawlings up on ebay recently that were not HoH but had the PRO-XX numbering.

I bought the Pro-1000HFG for my son. Its nice supple leather, smooth inside (Deer Tanned Cowhide), Has the gold Rawlings stitching on the thumb. I'm just confused by the model designation, Dot Date code (2 dots), Circle R patch but has the made in the Philippines stamp on the pinkie.
Any insight into this series would be appreciated.

pretty sure this is my old glove. I bought it new in 2006 for $75 at a sports store in Minneapolis. I turned it on ebay for about the same price when i was raising funds to move to London.

I wish i still had this glove new for my collection.

The Late 90's early 00's Gold Glove Series were made out of leather REALLY close to HOH if not HOH leather with cheaper lining's ect. Doc can probably clarify more. Many pro's used GG's back then too. Ive seen a number of Piazza and Pitcher's gamers that were Gold Glove's (As noted by the palm logo) as oppoed to HOH's. The quality of those GG's was much better than what you will get in that line today.

Agreed. I have a PRO-6XBCB-SB that has a Gold Glove stamp in the palm that is top quality. Bought it off 'Coachschaf' who said he aquired it from a Rawlings rep...good stuff. Picked up a couple HOH PRO-6XBCB since then. Beautiful black Wing Tips :D
