New source for laces

I went into a cowboy shop the other day, looking for cowboy stuff, and among the saddles, bridles, bits and spurs, I found bundles of leather laces, dyed almost every color I could imagine. Well DUH Cowboy, why didn't I think of looking in saddle shops in the first place? I also know that a friend of mine has had his son's 20-year old Mizuno restitched several times at a boot shop. The leather-velcro wrist strap keeps pulling loose, because the kid has a nervous habit of pulling on it between pitches.

Saddle shops and boot shops ... places inundated with leather and leather working tools ... *click* DING! the lights just went on over my head!

I get almost all of my supplies (leather, cleaning & conditioning and tools) at an equestrian supply store out in the middle of nowhere. Good selection and reasonable prices too.
