I have a vintage glove where one of the top of the fingers have worn through the leather. Any help on the best way to repair this type of "injury" would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

Oh man, you mean the very tip of the finger has worn through? Like from picking up too many ground balls? That would be some rough usage. Or do you mean that the finger tip has worn through the palm of the glove so you can actually see your finger? If it is the former I can see blackness creeping in from around the edges of the picture frame while taps is playing. If it is the latter it might be saved depending on whether or not you can find a glove repair shop willing to undertake the work. It may or may not look pretty. What does the rest of the glove look like and can you post pictures?
