Posted: December 7th, 2012, 6:32 pmThe leather is very soft. It's marked genuine horsehide but feels more like a buckskin. The glove is not floppy. The padding is thick in the heel and palm and the liner is thick so the glove stands up very straight on it's own.Hope that helps
