FS: Eddie Stanky gloves with letters from companies
Posted: July 20th, 2012, 11:51 amIn the lot with the Sonnett letters I posted about in a different thread, there was also a glove/letter from Dubow and Stall & Dean. Both are great but they don't really fit my collection and I'd like to pass them onto someone who will appreciate them more. The Dubow glove and letter are from the late 1940's. Glove is large and shows little to no use. The leather is dry and could use some conditioning. It will come with a letter from the Dubow company as well as a copy of a glove contract. The Stall & Dean glove is from the 1950's and is a Stanky Special. The letter is signed by Dick Stall and comes with an envelope addressed to Mr. Stanky. The top lace in the glove is broken and the glove needs a good conditioning.
