Could be wrong. I love these gloves. They are so light but, still retain their shape even after a few years of play.

How would you know if they keep their shape for years when you say your gloves are new.

The truth is that these NEVER really took-off, were poor sellers and became floppy very quickly. I know- I have a couple of LEFT HAND THROW models that I'd gladly trade 2 for ONE, well-known, tried and proven LHT glove.

I'll say that these are more like oddities rather than superior Mizuno products. Older World Wins, Pro Limiteds etc. are far better buys and bulletproof.

Caveat emptor,

I have two of these exact same gloves. Used one last year, the other is in storage for down the road. I've owned the exact same model trapeze posted above, until I found someone who paid a decent chunk for the used mitt.

I made a few modifications to it, adding a mid-finger lacing to the glove and a finger sleeve. Otherwise, this glove was great: it you didn't over oil it.

The leather was/is paper thin with foam inserts below. Flimsy and overpriced at any figure.

If these were well- received, they wouldn't be on eBay for months at a time! Sometimes the buyers know a lot more than the Sellers.

Good luck!

I own that black and tan glove and it's a pretty cool glove. I'm not trying to sell it so I can give some honest feedback on it. The positives:

-catches fly balls like a venus fly trap.
-gets a lot of compliments on how cool it looks.
- all leather construction (soft/smooth leather).
- very light.
- almost broken in new; put 2 fingers in pinkie slot and the glove closes pinkie/thumb style. Can actually improve an outfielders chances on making some catches... I have seen balls pop out of some gloves on some tough plays and thought this glove would of snagged the ball.

Negatives:
- and does feel a bit flimsy.
- regarding toughnest/durability it is not in the same category as "regular" gloves. This glove is best for the occasional outfielder who needs something already broken in that will snag fly balls.

Bought this glove for my son who is a P/INF but will sometimes ( rarely) help out in the outfield. He loves the glove but again it hardly gets used.

in reguards to the Generation series, I had that exact model trap pictured above, and i hated it. there wasnt much of a pocket and quite frankly was very difficult to catch with. just my 2 cents

I think with that glove you want the ball to hit the web not the pocket... the web does a good job of absorbing impact and closing around the ball.
