A-Rod Game Issue w/ Pics

Don't know if it was worth the price, but it will sure look great next to my Jeter Game issue. This RV23, does not have the massive hand opening either and it has the full mesh back which I think only MLB guys have access to. Has a weird notch back too since the mesh probably is not strong enough to loop around. The Pattern is a nice deep bowl. Very close to a 6HF with an open back. The only real advantage I can see with the Hinged Post web is it makes it wider like a normal web. For whatever reason, the phillipines Single Post web's have 2 fewer laces loops at the top making them way narrow. ERER=08/08

Enjoy the pics.

Not sure if I can really afford to hold onto it, but I am doing everything I can to keep it. If anyone wants to buy it I'll do $1350 probably.

That is one friggin sweet glove. I wish they would make that available to the public even if it was in the custom glove program I would buy it.

Nice.

So does the mesh serve its purpose in making the glove lighter?

Did you have any luck in dealing that one 11 1/2 mesh back camel colored Rawlings glove?

Also how do you do it to afford these gloves?

When I get home over winter break I'll get those up. It's literally just sat in the box from Rawlings/Steiner sports since I got it, so I don't have pics on photbucket. I'd still say the Turn 2 is better than the A-Rod throwing.

As to how I can afford them, I dunno I've just saved up I guess. (No I didn't sell the meshback I just had up. I might resell in December when I am not so busy.

The value of the gloves seem to be doing better than the market these days too, haha. They don't just collapse like banks either. Anyone up for the First National Glove bank? Who needs gold to back their money anyway!

This was me for the last 5 minutes
Congratulations on that awesome pick up. Honestly that is the nicest modern glove I have ever laid eyes on.

If it came from Steiners then it was made just for them. we still make the helmets here also and yes thats my job also But Steiners is a big hitter in Pro helmets especially Yankee's. And they just bought 9000 Dozen of the game ball baseball's with old Yankee stadium on them. But I get calls weekley during the season to make and over nite helmets to Steiners because a visiting team has someone to sign them. its a hellva business
