Vintage Baseball Glove Forum

Anyone had a chance to try one? I kinda would like to give this one a shot:

Similar the the TPX PRO Flare gloves I don't know who was first, but I think I like the shape of the akadema a little more. I may pick up one just to give it a shot. I shape my glove like the akadema in the picture anyways, so it'd save me some of the trouble

What is the point of this flared shape? I think that it would be harder to pick up a ball from the ground. No?
