I purchased both this week and recieved them today. I definately feel like the kimera is nicer, the smell that glove puts off fills my whole basement. the bloodline is ok, I just dont feel its worth the money. I wish they would have made a 175 model in the bloodline. I got the 11.5 trap but it feels alot smaller, it nice don't get me wrong but doesn't come close to a primo. I defiently recommend the kimera, I got the 12' trap in this, seems like a 11.5 to 11.75 but very nice

Thanks for the review. I was very interested in seeing both gloves in person, but alas, none of my local places (Sport Chalet, Sports Authority, Chicks, etc.) have them. Interesting...you prefer the Kimera. That is the one that I was definitely more enthused about.

I also wondered how the Primo and the Bloodline compared to one another.

I don't suppose you could post some pics of them? I'd love to see more than just the catalog photos I have already seen.

No one has jack squat anywhere. I don't think we'll see any of the new stuff until next year when they start getting ready for spring.

wickedwoman, I definitely prefer the Primo over the Bloodline. Here are my comments from another thread:

I can't justify the hefty price difference of the Bloodline, especially if they are not all exclusively made from their "Prime Leather". I prefer their Buffalos over the Bloodline.

The Kimeras are very nice, I love the Horween combined with the Kangaroo. Look and feel great. I see a 12.75 Mod trap in my future :D

I have found only one small sport store in the entire Chicagoland area that has these new models, they are trickling out of the factory at this point.

I'm not very familiar w/ Nokona, so please excuse this question if it has already been answered. Does Nokona make a glove out of thick Horween leather similar to the HOH's you see at ballgloves.com? I really want a traditional tan thick Horween made in the US. Thanks and sorry to veer off topic...

Unfortunately no, Nokona doesn't make a full Horween glove. Wish they did. The Kimera series uses a Horween palm with a kangaroo back. The Horween leather feels thinner than the Rawlings HOH's also.
