I'm sure this has already been asked but I can't find anything from back researching. Can anyone tell me what the dots on the back of the Rawlings pinky finger signify? I've seen them ranging from 1 dot to 5 dots.

Okay, I’m a little confused…I’m a rookie glove collector so let me know if I’m wrong…
Rawlings stopped making gloves here in the USA around 1995…right?
4 dots = 1999…right? So anything after 1995 was and is currently made overseas…right?
I have a Rawlings glove with 4 dots that has a USA stamp on it…what the heck happened there?(*&!#&
I can’t refer to the pre-1982 dot code list (
http://www.vintagebaseballgloveforum.co ... t=dot+code)
because it would make my glove a 1979 (4 = 1975+4=1979) which I know it’s not. So does anyone out there have the dot codes for gloves made after 1995? And how about the ones made after 1995 that are stamped with “Made in the USA”?
Thanks

Sir, my glove has a US Flag on it, is it an Eastbay Glove?
Also, Rawlings made them for Eastbay or did Eastbay make them?
Thank You Sir

yes at that time it was made just for eastbay with the flag, after that the flag is confusing even to me. our Brain trust even added the flag to some imports I believe the Hertiage line to be exact ( which I developed to go head to head with Nacona) and was up to 50'000 units when the old switch aroo happened. (send to philipines no one will know) Then the first thing that happened was it turned into a stiff multi-colored HOH quality glove, The next sound you heard was Taps.
