You know, I really like to see that white script "R" in the red circle, much better than in the red oval which we see today.

i actually like the earlier R "nickel" patches from the mid seventies. it's a really nice crimson red with silvery R embroidered. they weren't very durable, but looked very classy and vintage. the later nickel patches were bright white with a brighter red background
