Just picked up a 2009 Wilson A2K 1796...I love the fact that the Wilson gloves have the "Wilson" and "W" sewn directly on glove, no more labels sewn to glove.....I guess Wilson took the idea from the Rawlings Primo...Hopefully Rawlings will incorporate the same idea from the Primo to the Pro preferred and possibly HOH gloves.....Very sleek looking. -matt

Hi Splinters,

That is very cool that you own a Wilson A2K 1796. I myself own one and it is my Favorite Glove I've ever Owned and I am certain that will remain the case as long as I live.

That said, I am greatly interested in your Post.

I love the Glove and the 2008 Cosmetic enough that I've been considering Buying a Second of the same exact Model.

Howver, your Description of the 2009 version Glove does sound very nice and I am hoping I'll be able to see one soon in person.

Congratulations on your Glove and Thank You for sharing!

All My Best,
John

I think the A2K's came out before Primo which started that directly sewn logo trend. I dont know why, but Wilson even made it a selling point of the A2K. Kind of useless in my opinion.
