I'm wondering if you all can help spread the word on this?

USA Cares has a pressing need for Adult Baseball or Softball Gloves to send to US Armed forces serving overseas.

Last year we sent tons of bats, but catching the ball without a glove, as we all know... can be painful.

USA Cares is accepting donations of good used adult gloves of all sizes (both L&R hand) or cash donations of any amount, to buy new gloves. Please ask everyone you know who might be able help.

Mail Gloves or Donations to:

Kim Moorman
USA Cares, Inc.
562-B North Dixie Blvd., Suite 3
Radcliff, KY 40160

Call in donations to: 1-800-773-0387 or 270-352-5451 ext. 105

Email Kim at: kmoorman@usacares.us

With my son serving in the Army, I personally "Thank You" in advance for helping as you can and remembering these patriots. They get so little time off and they really like playing ball when they do.

Best Regards,

Gone Batty

That sounds like another great mission for THE baseball glove forum. It seems you've come to the right place, these guys are the best! They've helped me in the best possible way.

Good luck to you! :D
