Show your A2000s

There's something special about the old USA Wilson leather used in the A2000 series. The Ansonia leather had a great feel, the dual hinge web swallows the ball, but if you've ever taken a direct hit to the palm with one, it could bring you to your knees :?

this glove is purported to have been used by ted williams during a clinic at a mall that sears had in texas during the 1980's. the owner said that ted asked him if he could use it to do a demonstration so, technically not a "gamer" :wink:

Here's my one and only A2000. It has a model number of some kind on the inside finger that looks to be added because it isn't in gold. PS4-?? I can't read the other numbers/letters. Have any of you found these type of identifiers on your A2000?

can you put dates on each one? i'm guessing late 50's early 60's?
