Anybody who says the glove makes no difference is probably somebody who can't make anything but a routine play anyway. If eveything takes a Sunday hop or is a can of corn fly ball then a glove is a glove. But go deep in the hole to backhand or run down a gapper snow cone job and then tell me the glove doesn't matter.
Hell I bought my son a GG series outfield glove to upgrade his Walmart special RBG36 Griffey model (the newer black ones that are way to flimsy) and there is a world of difference between those two. The GG are nice gloves but nowhere near the quality of the higher models or customs.
