Not baseball but interesting
Posted: August 15th, 2011, 2:36 pmOK, so it's not baseball, it's football. Actually it's not even football. It's rugby. This amber glass football is actually a rugby trophy from Wales. How it wound up in an antique store in North Carolina is anybody's guess. The inscription reads: Plough & Harrow, Barry, Wales 1978-1981. There is a crest, underwhich reads W.R.U. (World Rugby League) Centenary 1881-1981. Being of Welsh ancestry on my father's side, I couldn't pass it up.
