When they open the gate you take out the security guard on the left, and I got the one on the right.

OK, if it ricochet's and hits me that's an out, past you on the ground a single, over your head is a homer, etc. (We played all kinds of games like this.)

Oh no, they've brought in Wally Whitehurst

Parks and Rec made sure that there wouldn't be any cheap home runs at "Losing Pitcher" Mulcahy Memorial Field.

"This is the field?!! Dude, I thought this was a batting cage."

The reason why Arena Baseball never took off.

Even with these playing conditions, James still couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

Baseball's first board game.

Bobby's "StoneWALL" Jackson approach to the game really hindered the other players from developing their skills.

Knotty Boys!

After getting board of this game they took up fencing.

It's tough to play with a woodie.

Tired of having their backs against the wall, they find other ways to play the game.

The 2 players decide to go against the grain.

With 15 feet from the mound to the backstop and a 30 foot wall behind him, Billy was pretty sure he'd be telling Dad that he pitched another shutout.

"Hey, the windis blowing out today..."

"Mister Parks and Rec Director, tear down this wall!"

"Ah screw this, let's find a handball."

The upclose and too friendly confines of Claus Tro Fobic Field.

After the whiz for distance competition, Win and Max do a little post European baseball.

Winfred and "Tiny" Maxwell took it the hardest with the closure and boarding up of their favorite cathouse.

The team was divided on who would start.

Time to get creative. Trying out my WOODY ENGLISH, so here goes:

BALSA Moore was tough on his players. He was so tough that he was given the nickname Old HICKORY. He probably was the hardest on his relief PITCHer ALDER TWIG. TWIG was crashing and not nailing down the saves. So, Moore went out on a LIMB and looked elsewhere for some help. FORTunately, The CUBBY’s were in a HOLE, so they dealt CHERRY WOOD to the team. Upon getting WOOD, it was PLANE and simple who would FINISH the games. SYCAMORE and Riding the PINE, ALDER with TIMBER in his voice said “I’m BOARD of this, I’m no SAP, I’m LEAFin’!”

PLEASE NO KICKBACKS!

Hey. Hold on a minute," exclaimed Cyrus, "I thought them ghost players came out of the corn field." :?

"Not so," declared Buck, "You watch and wait. They'll emerge right through that dang white wall
and we'll have the ball game of our lives! "

Even with the awkward postioning and strange batting stance, the players still couldn't see the writing on the wall.

Said the pitcher to the hitter,"Seeing you with the woody makes me hurl"

TWO HOURS LATER...........
Well I'll be, Buck! Here they come." exclaimed Cyrus.
And so it was that a team of ghostly ALL-STARS
came forth from the wall.
