My uncle has found some catchers gear and a baseball bat. He wants them identified and valued. Here are some pictures:

Mask: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... ceMask.jpg

Shins: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... o-1.jpg%26

http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... 672.jpg%26

Chest Protector: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... PA2.jpg%26

Straps on Chest Protector: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... iPA.jpg%26

It says A.J Reach Co.

Bat: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... iPA.jpg%26

Bat Trademark: http://s985.photobucket.com/albums/ae33 ... 250.jpg%26

The Trademark says Ken-Wel, Utica NY, No. 250. The other trademark (not shown) says "Professional Johnny Mize Model"

I would just like to let my uncle know what these things are worth and what time period they came from, and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and best regards!

The bat is a little worn and is only worth about 20
The catchers gear is nice but if you are looking to sell it leave the mask out as vit is a softball one and might hinder a nice pair of shin guards and chest protector which should bring you 100 or more
The mask is worth maybe 15

I ran across a similar looking mask today at an antique mall. It was a Stall & Dean. I passed on it because I didn't know much about it and they wanted $50. How can you tell if it's a softball mask?

most if not all softballs masks are square or rectangular in shape with a straight bar across the top. Baseball masks are roundedor oval in shape. The other mask that pops up a lot are just ones that cover the eyes. These smaller mask were made for racquet sports
