I just acquired a 36" Honus Wagner bat from 1911-16. It is in top shape...no cracks, separations, chips, etc. The decal is about 85% there. I know Brett's dad is a bat guy, maybe he can advise me. The bat was going to be thrown in the trash ....do you believe it!

If it is as nice as you say and you need some money you should do quite well with it.

It's certainly a good bat. If you're looking to sell, I'm certainly interested and I'm sure a few other board members would be too. If you're looking for value, post some pictures and we'll help you out

You will have to ask other Forum members about value. I repair bats for other collectors and dealers, but because I don't deal in bats, buying and selling, I have no idea of what the going values are. I'm sure a bat that size with most of the decal remaining would be worth some big $$$$$$.

Here is an interesting read on decal bats:

I'm guessing with the lack of bidding, people want more proof - interesting nonetheless.

The description I think is right on. The dot dash and or 125 instead of 125TC or 125HW or the 40TC of latter years gives you almost everything you need.

Knob would be blank on the pro bat also
