If I had to start a team based on the players who wore a particular number, #5 would win hands down. It would be followed by #4, and a distant third would be a toss up between #8 and #20. What do you think?

going with the "leftovers"

I can see why! You'd have all time greats at every position and then some. Going with the leftovers I'd take #3, 9, 21, and 32. Tough to pass on The Babe, The Kid, and El Clemente. Granted, I don't have a SS, but I'm not too worried with my rotation of Koufax, Spahn, Carlton, Lemon, and Clemens! Hey, this is fun!
