Glove of the week: June 3 – June 10 (White Wilson 610)
Posted: June 15th, 2007, 7:22 amWork took me to Hershey, PA this past week leaving me unable to sign on to the forum. I might not have bothered to post if it wasn’t for a particular glove that I wanted to be sure to make note of.
What looks like a mint Thos. E Wilson Professional Model 610 sold for $1031 on 17 bids. The 610 model can be found in the 1922 and 1925 catalogs selling for $4, a mid-tier glove. I was actually a bit surprised it didn’t go for more, considering what you see paid for some other white gloves in much lesser condition. I think this was really the glove of the week so I leave it at just the one glove. Not sure I can add anything other than the pics, which seem to say it all with this one.
