This incredibly high quality Reach Joe Cronin with box sold for the $450 opening bid. Poor photos and a high starting bid may have kept buyers away but this is one gorgeous piece.

A Ratsch Peerless mitt sold for $35 on ebay. A pretty early model needing some repairs. I would have definitely keyed the BIN because the mitt is pretty cool looking and a worthy restoration project. Sorry I missed it.

I've searched and searched different catalogs for the 107 for many years, but have yet to find it. I initially thought it was Canadian, but it was clearly made in the USA as per the stampings. There are several variations to the wrist strap button, including one with a train on it, so my theory is that it was produced during the war years and that they used whatever metal buttons were avaialble at the time (they were likely in short supply because of WWII). It's clearly a 1940's design, does not show up in any late 1930's Spalding catalogs, nor any of the late 1940's catalogs. My best guestimate is 1942-1945, give or take a year or two.

Another nice April glove,,,Here's a G51 Draper & Maynard Joe Harris Model. I picked it up post auction from my good friend Robbie. Just a really nice example of this top-of-the-line model. It needed a lot of cleaning up, but I love that part of it, so that worked out just fine.

An interesting 1915-20 Reach Catchers mitt sold for $35 on ebay. The reinforced palm looks to be authentic with the way it ties into the piping and grommets. Some damage to the back side kept the price down.
