This Wilson "Humpback" model already has 3 bids. The question is, who could not bid on this? It's an instant classic!

Regarding the "Instant Classic" at the top of the thread. Isn't this a homemade, modified Hornsby Deluxe? Check out the stitching . How long did that take? It's a great looking glove and it will be interesting to see what it goes for.

A Goldsmith sewn web glove sold for $78 on ebay. Unidentified in the ebay listing. Pretty nice glove except for the thumb seam separation.

A circa 1920's Stall & Dean "Speed" model 0971 sold for a $70 BIN on ebay. Someone got a bargain on a nice grommet web, white leather glove. Looks like a high quality and good size glove. Got to love that distinctive S&D wrist opening.

A 1940's Wilson made Victoria glove sold for $64 on ebay. Seems like a good deal. I have owned these and they are very well made, large size gloves. Great looking wine colored leather with yellow liner and piping.

Mike,

I've always liked the red wine leather on an old timer glove. This Wilson is in very nice shape and has that cool contrasting piping to boot. :D

Looks great from the back and in profile. I'd want to spend some time banging the pocket into shape so it looked good, too. Somebody could make a fantastic moc-documentary, "The Making of The Humpback Hornsby". Maybe done in grainy sepia footage. Maybe a old small town shoe shop or a tailor or just some inventive 2nd old time baseman at home at his workbench down the cellar, with a needle and thread, setting about to make the perfect pocket! :D

This 1960 Nokona "Jim Lemon" model TST10 sold for $30 on ebay. I thought the "Tex-Siz-Trap" gloves were in high demand especially this top catalog model featuring the "Fingerlok". Really surprised it garnered only one bid.

An Iron Arm Brand "Pee Wee Reese" model 70G glove and box sold for $158 on ebay. Still can't figure out what company sold the "Iron Arm" gloves.

Three interesting catchers mitts form the Texas dealer.

First is a Stall & Dean model that sold for $56. A really dark photo may have given the lucky winner a nice mitt. Not described in the listing but it is indeed a buckle web model with what looks like an intact cloth patch. I lightened the back photo so it could be viewable.

Second is a Wright & Ditson crescent pad model with an early TOC W&D logo on the patch. It sold for a tidy $381 on ebay. just the look of the mitt against the laminate strips of the countertop, I think this may be a behemoth.

Third is a TOC mitt with an intricate buckle web and early patented heel lacing. Looks to be in great condition. It sold for $340 on ebay
