Spalding Ruth at $5366 - don't think it's missing any web pieces. I bet it will clean up nice - possibly finest condition of this model around??

Hi Carmi. I don't think it was missing any web parts. That glove was spectacular. The strong stampings, nice lining and tag certainly helped it go that high. I was surprised it went that high. I was thinking more like $2k. I was way off but happy to see it do so well.

The Spalding "Ruth" deserves a few more pics. It is one nice glove with little wear and tear.

IMHO I really liked the same seller's Goldsmith Chas. Gehringer glove more than this one (undoubtedly because I have Ruth's and other Ruth's) but also because it had the same qualities as the MO (great condition and great lining and stampings) and was a higher quality glove. All that admiration got me as far as underbidder. Just missed it. :|

Some interesting choices for THE best of the month, I would give the edge to the Spalding Ruth glove. Not just because of the price but as Brett stated, it may be the nicest model MO out there.

Here's another look at the Ken-Wel 1" web mentioned previously in this thread. I'm pretty happy with it. I wrote on my feedback remarks to the seller, "better than described".
